Proyama K Nakasaki 5-in-1 Gas Brush Cutter Trimming Tool Review

This convenient gas powered 5-in-1 multi-tool combines a Gas Hedge Trimmer, String Trimmer, Brush Cutter, Pole Chainsaw Pruner and Extension Pole. Powered by an impressive 63cc 2 cycle gas engine.

I have had mine for 3 years and it is so perfect for maintenance around the yard and in the overgrown wooded grounds. This is really ideal for users who want to use multiple tools but have limited space, or like the convenience of being able to easily swap one attachment for another. Each attachment provides the same fantastic performance as individual machines. An absolute bargain compared to buying individual tools.

Cons:

• This cutter is quite heavy compared to an electric model. Use the shoulder harness to take the weight off your arms and give you better balance and control. 

• You’ll need to mix gas 40/1. It comes with a mixing bottle that makes it so easy to measure the right blend of gas and oil.

✅ Easy Starting: The gas engine is really easy to start.  I just pump the bulb a few times, put on the choke, pull the cord a couple of times. Easy! I especially like the fact that with a gas engine I don’t have to drag an extension cord along behind me. No risk of tripping on a cord and I can go anywhere into the woods. 

The gas 2 stroke engine is much more powerful than an electric trimmer.

This same multi cutting tool is very similar to many brand names.  There is a slight variation in engine size but most likely made by the same manufacturer under these brands: PROYAMA, MAXTRA, HUYOSEN, K NAKASAKI, YOUWISE, DATINGDAY. I’ve found nearly identical multi tools each with these different brand names.  In my research I see that some are temporarily out of stock due to the pandemic and shipping bottleneck. Under any brand you’ll be getting the same one.
